Using a 'picking list' or prescription to determine the  correct  medication, up to two packs are placed onto the pill bat so that the holes are aligned with the holes in the pill bat. For best results pre-fold the cards.

Insert a blister of appropriate depth to accommodate the medication through the holes in the card and into the pill bat. Load with the appropriate medication.

Fold over the card and write the medication details on the panel that presents itself.

Insert the pill bat holding the cards into the heat sealer making sure that the pill bat is all the way in. And seal for the correct amount of time dependent on the type of sealer being used. (e.g. the VenasealPro, illustrated left, is pre set to seal in 3 seconds)

At the end of the cycle, retrieve the pill bat with the cards. Remove the cards, blister side down, and leave to cool for approximately 10 seconds. Inspect the packs for errors and place them to stock.
