Seal Cold Seal cards

 Back to How to
Cold Seal Process 5 Step Guide

 c1_1.jpg Step 1
A pre-folded card is placed on a pill bat so that the holes
align with the holes in the 'pill bat'. A blister of appropriate
depth to accommodate the medication is placed through
the holes into the pill bat

 c2_1.jpg Step 2
If required, the Venalink easy load is placed on top.
This facilitates accurate loading of the medications
into the blisters, (some packs are pre-printed with
 this information).

 c3_1.jpg Step 3
When all of the required medication has been loaded,
the release paper on the foil half of the card is removed.

 c4_1.jpg Step 4
The foil half of the card is then folded onto the blister
half of the card from the fold outwards, to ensure no
air is trapped

 c5_1.jpg Step 5
The card is then rolled to ensure that a good seal has
been applied. Fill in the relevant medication description
and appropriate patient details and apply the patient
labels and the pack is then ready for dispatch.
